Oh!  I trust then that you never use emotional arguments to justify the pro-choice belief!

Oh, wait..

“SOME PEOPLE SEE BEING PREGNANT AS A HINDRANCE” - you.

Apparently, you do use emotion.  That’s an emotional opinion that doesn’t change what the fetus scientifically and biologically is.

“JUST CAUSE YOU’RE INTO PREGNANCY DOESN’T MEAN EVERYBODY ELSE IS OR SHOULD BE.” - also you.

That’s another emotional argument.  Just because you aren’t “into” your pregnancy, that still doesn’t change what the fetus is.  You aren’t “feelin’ it” with this pregnancy - that’s an emotional opinion.

Also, a little FYI, here’s the dictionary’s definition of a child:

Child:
noun, plural chil·dren.
1. a person between birth and full growth; a boy or girl
2. a son or daughter
3. a baby or infant.
4. a human fetus.
5. a childish person

Whoops, dictionary.

Also, if a child “can not exist until it is born” (you again) - then what exactly is that growing in the womb?  An idea?  Is a mother’s pregnant belly swollen with a concept?  Are those kicks a mother feels only theoretical?  When a fetus has hiccups, are those imaginary hiccups?  Clearly, the fetus does exist, and clearly, the english language considers a human fetus within the definition of a child.  Probably because child is a synonym with words like “descendant” and “offspring” - a fetus is the young of it’s parents; a result of the fact that two human beings sexually reproduced. Every scientist on the planet agrees that a human fetus is a human being, that is, a member of the species homo sapiens.  Refusing to acknlowedge the fetus as a young human, a child of the species homo sapiens, is just a term-twisting tactic used to dehumanize the unborn in order to justify your emotional reasoning for aborting them.

If you really want to discuss abortion with absence of emotion, than pro-choicers need to stop using their own emotional arguments.  In order to use logic, you must also use consistency, which means not blatantly contradicting yourselves.  The problem is that you want to pretend some pregnancies are of less value than other pregnancies based souly on the mother’s emotional perception of her pregnancy.  One woman cannot have an 8-week-old clump of insignificant cells while another mother has a an 8-week-old baby.  You can’t have it both ways: either it’s a baby, or it isn’t.  Yet many women who are pro-choice have no problem feeling excitement over their wanted pregnancy, celebrating with baby showers, referring to it as a “baby,” and even naming their baby in utero and prescribing it a personality and talking about their hopes and dreams for said baby, as long as the baby is wanted.  If the baby is unwanted, however, then it is no longer a baby.  This is not consistent logic because it contains a contradiction.  It’s a baby when you want it to be baby, but it’s not a baby when you don’t want it to be. You’re deciding if someone is a person or not based on how you feel.  Even if you’re unhappy with the pregnancy, that doesn’t change the scientific fact that the fetus is a human being.  How is that not emotional propaganda?

lol

Some people don’t want to be pregnant - fact, doesn’t change what fetus is, but then again, the fetus isn’t a person, TAH DAH

“Is a mother’s pregnant belly swollen with a concept?  Are those kicks a mother feels only theoretical?  When a fetus has hiccups, are those imaginary hiccups? ” - emotional bullshit

contradicting yourself, a+

Way to prove my point

womp womp womp
ps, of course someone is going to refer to a wanted pregnancy as a baby. Is it? Nooope.

It’s called self-preservation. Making sure you don’t become a victim to a heinous crime that you won’t get a scathing bit of justice or even a bit of sympathy for .. because hey, you were out late at night and ultimately asked for what happened to you.

Got it?

Good.
